Abstract

In organizations, whether public or private, communication permeates all institutional spaces, whether or not there is an institutional or institutionalized communication policy. It communicates constantly, directly or indirectly, intentionally or not: meaning is produced at all times. At IFPR it's no different, we communicate all the time. So, the main objective of this research is to map how the Communication Sectors of the IFPR Campuses and the Directorate of Communication of the Rectory of the institution are structured. For that, a case study method research was carried out, applied to those who work in the Institute's communication, in the Rectory and in the Campi and data were extracted on the structure and challenges of Institutional Communication of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology from Paraná. From the results obtained, it is evident the need to reformulate the Communication Policy of the IFPR, as well as the construction of a culture that, in fact, institutionalized it. It was also noticed that there is a great effort from the servers to perform the functions, even if not in the ideal conditions of workload, training, among others.
