Open Access and Open Science Policy
Revista Mundi ETG follows the principles of Open Science, promoting the democratization of scientific knowledge through transparency, collaboration, and research reuse.
All articles are published under immediate open access. This means they are freely available for anyone to read, download, copy, share, and use for any lawful purpose, without financial or technical barriers.
Articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY) license. This means you can share and adapt the material, even for commercial purposes, as long as you give appropriate credit to the authors and the journal.
Authors retain full copyright of their work. They grant the journal only the right of first publication. Therefore, authors may:
- Deposit the published version of the article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or research group pages;
- Reuse their data and text in other works, provided they cite the original publication in Mundi ETG.
We encourage authors to adopt practices that strengthen research transparency and impact:
- Research data: Whenever possible, make the data supporting the article available in trusted open repositories (such as Zenodo and Figshare), preferably with a DOI.
- Preprints: Authors may deposit preliminary versions of their articles (preprints) on servers such as SciELO Preprints, without affecting the journal’s review process.
- Sharing materials: Methods, code, scripts, and other research materials should be shared to enable the reproducibility of results.
The journal recommends that research data follow the FAIR Principles, which make data:
- Findable: With clear metadata and persistent identifiers (such as DOIs);
- Accessible: Stored on open and easily accessible platforms;
- Interoperable: Formatted using standards that allow integration with other datasets;
- Reusable: Fully described and provided with open licenses.
Publishing data according to these principles increases the visibility and reuse of your research within the scientific community.
Mundi ETG follows strict ethical publishing standards and promotes a collaborative environment, welcoming contributions from researchers from different institutions and countries. Our goal is to ensure that knowledge produced in the fields of Technical Education, Management, and Engineering reaches the widest possible audience.
With this policy, we reaffirm our commitment to Open Science and to the quality and transparency of scientific communication.
