CIÊNCIA, INVESTIGAÇÃO E AFETO: interlocuções, experiências e vivências em um projeto de extensão no ambiente hospitalar

Abstract

Considering about different spaces as possibilities for teaching science through movements that can lead to investigations is always a challenge. In this sense, we seek, in this article, to report our experiences through an extension project, involving science teaching in a hospital space. The project was developed in the municipality of Umuarama- PR during the first half of 2023, in total around 300 people were reached, including patients, companions and hospital staff. To carry out the project, 8 interventions on scientific curiosities were organized. With this experience, our pedagogical thinking and action was completely displaced, and we can realize that science can be much more than a place of knowledge, it can be a space of affections that move us by sparking curiosity. Knowledge in this space emerged in different forms, however always accompanied by stories, memories, and feelings. Finally, we highlight the potential that projects like this can have within teacher education. In other words, investigative teaching can be constructed using other paths than just the classroom or school space.
